Kemble's was founded by Michael Kemble in North London, the centre of piano manufacturing at that time . In the 1960s his son, Robert, expanded sales and production dramatically, and moved to modern new premises.

In the 21st century, Brian Kemble MBE, grandson of the founder, continues the tradition. We are now the exclusive British manufacturer and are the largest maker in Western Europe, with the most modern production facilities. We aim to combine the best of modern technology with traditional British craftsmanship and design in order to produce pianos of outstanding quality and value.
